Laboratories
The Institute houses spaciously laid out, highly equipped and properly maintained laboratories with one computer room, one machine room. During every Lab work proper GMP & GLP are followed. Safety is given top priority with each laboratory provided with egress, fire fighting equipment & first-aid box.
Machine room
Institute has a well maintained machine room with all essentials and desired equipments and machinery which are required for manufacturing of drugs and medicines. Some of the major equipments/ machinery include:
- Size reduction mills
- Double cone blender
- Dry granulator and Wet granulator
- Single punch hand driven tablet machine
- Ten station tablet machine.
- Tablet coating machine
- Capsule filling machine
- Homogenizers
- Spry dryer etc.
Computer center
Adequate computer facility has been provided as per the curriculum of Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Students are trained to handle various software’s and programs
Internet facility has been provided to the students in our computer laboratory where the students can online look for data needed for the various competitions such as poster and paper presentation etc. It has also become very convenient way for them to search for data through the internet

Library
Library
The BVIOP library has been developed with aim of catering knowledge to students of pharmacy at all levels. It has a strong and comprehensive collection of books, journals and periodicals supporting all the foundational and research areas of the pharmaceutical technology and sciences.
The special strength of library includes spacious seating arrangement in a reading room, availability of text books, reference books. Library possesses more than 9000 books including textbooks and reference books. These books cover the basics as well as very advanced concepts in pharmaceutical sciences and technology.
The library provides free internet access to the students as well as provide students an online access to various national and international journals as well as various e-Books through K-HUB. The college also has subscriptions for various journals like:
Indian journal of pharmaceutical sciences, Drug today, Pharma times & CIMS etc. Library also facilitates free access to the visitors for reference work.
Some of the prestigious titles available in the library comprise of:

- Pharmaceutical Dosage Forms: Tablets. Vol. I, II,III
- Pharmaceutical Dosage Forms: Parenteral Medications. Vol. I, II,III

The library provides free internet access to the students. The library is open for access from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Library also facilitates free access to the visitors for reference work.

Pharmacy Museum
The institute has maintained different types of displays including
- Display of Patent and Proprietary medicine
- Display of Containers and Closures of common usage
These displays are informative and help students to understand different types of dosage forms along with containers, closures used to store them.
In Pharmaceutics laboratory there are displays of different dosage forms and packaging materials, containers and also different schedules to the Drugs and Cosmetics Rule, 1945.
In Pharmacognosy lab. herbarium sheets are displayed while in Biochemistry lab. various charts and in Anatomy and Physiology lab. family planning devices are displayed.
Auditorium
The Institute auditorium is a central facility where seminars, guest lectures, alumni meets and other events are organized. The auditorium is fully air conditioned with comfortable seating arrangement for 150 people. The auditorium is equipped with audio-visual aids and has state-of-the-art acoustics.

Cafeteria
The cafeteria provides a welcome break for students and teachers from the routine academic schedule. The institute has provided a well-maintained and hygienic cafeteria which offers a choice of snacks, beverages and basic food requirements to the students and staff members at reasonable rates. It has adequate seating capacity and provides refreshment and food facilities from morning to evening on all working days.
